Information collected
ApexEdge collects information you provide, information generated through your use of the product, and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. The categories below explain this in more detail.
- 2
Account information
This may include your name, email address, authentication status, account identifiers, and information used to communicate with you or manage your access.
- 3
Business information
ApexEdge may process information supplied during onboarding or later use, such as business name, industry, location, website, goals, digital presence, and estimates about customers, revenue, or operations.
- 4
Business data uploaded by customers
If you upload, enter, or connect business data, ApexEdge processes that data to provide the requested features. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate rights to provide it, including where it contains information about other people.
- 5
Usage information
ApexEdge may process product interactions, feature usage, device and browser details, approximate technical location derived from network information, error records, and security events where available and needed for service operation.
- 6
Authentication information
Authentication providers process credentials and sign-in information needed to verify your identity. ApexEdge receives the resulting account and session information required to maintain secure access. Passwords should be handled through the managed authentication system rather than supplied in support messages.
- 7
Payment and billing information
Recurring payment authorizations and payment card or banking credentials should be handled by the applicable payment provider rather than stored directly by ApexEdge. ApexEdge may receive transaction references, customer or subscription identifiers, plan details, payment status, currency, amount, billing dates, and limited billing contact information needed to manage subscriptions and support.
- 8
How information is used
Information may be used to provide and personalize ApexEdge, build the Business Brain, generate analysis, operate accounts and subscriptions, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, respond to requests, enforce terms, comply with legal obligations, and improve product reliability.
ApexEdge does not claim to know business information that has not been supplied or made available through an authorized connection.
- 9
AI processing
Relevant business context and user requests may be processed by AI systems to produce insights and recommendations. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Users remain responsible for reviewing outputs and making business decisions. Do not submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the requested analysis.
- 10
Service providers
ApexEdge may use service providers for infrastructure, storage, authentication, AI processing, payments, communications, monitoring, and customer support. Providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and process it subject to applicable agreements and responsibilities.
- 11
Data security
ApexEdge uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls and account-based data separation. No internet service or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Report suspected account compromise through support.
- 12
Data retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Retention may vary by data type, account status, contractual need, backup cycle, and applicable law.
- 13
Access, correction, and deletion
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. These rights can have exceptions. Submit a request through the contact page; identity verification may be required.
- 14
Cookies and similar technologies
ApexEdge may use cookies or local storage that are necessary for sign-in, session continuity, security, preferences, and core operation. If non-essential analytics or tracking technologies requiring consent are introduced, appropriate notice and choices should be provided before they are used where required. This policy does not claim that unconfigured tracking services are in use.
- 15
International data handling
Service providers and technical infrastructure may process information in countries other than where you live. Where applicable, ApexEdge should use appropriate contractual, legal, or organizational measures for international handling.
- 16
Third-party integrations
If you choose to connect a third-party service, information may pass between ApexEdge and that service according to your instructions and the integration’s permissions. The third party’s own terms and privacy practices also apply. Review permissions before connecting and disconnect integrations you no longer use.
- 17
Children’s privacy
ApexEdge is a business service and is not intended for children. Users must meet the eligibility requirements in the Terms of Service. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact ApexEdge for review.
- 18
Policy updates
This policy may be updated as the service, legal requirements, or data practices change. Material updates will be communicated through a reasonable channel where required. The current version will remain available on this page.
